Antioch University, Marina del Rey, California - To develop new literature, institute a borrower tracking system and increase capacity to provide specialized loan counseling for borrowers.

California Hair Design Academy, La Mesa, California - To expand its Web site to include a job placement service for graduates with student loans.

California State University, Fullerton; Fullerton, California - For financial literacy seminars during freshman orientation and to build new channels of information distribution, including a Web site chat room.

California State University, Sacramento; Sacramento, California - To develop an online money management course specific to CSUS and to offer it to other CSU campuses and to a statewide financial literacy project already funded by an EDSHARE grant.

Columbia University, New York, New York - For a pilot debt counseling and financial management seminar program at seven of its 16 schools and to develop a standard comprehensive manual to guide and integrate debt management activities at various campuses.

Cuesta College, San Luis Obispo, CA - To implement a student debt management and financial literacy awareness project focusing on the following services: improved student contact during grace periods, financial literacy awareness workshops, interactive Web-delivered financial literacy information and enhanced credit card management information.

Diablo Valley College, Pleasant Hill, California - For a pilot program of financial literacy seminars focusing on debt management.

Eastern Washington University, Cheney, Washington - To educate students on scholarship sources and build a scholarship database.

Gavilan College, Gilroy, California - To implement a debt management and default aversion program focusing on Web delivery and expanding instructional media throughout the campus, including the college's local cable TV channel.

Graduate Theological Union, Berkeley, California - To develop a graduate student finance colloquium, a scholarship source listserv and increased scholarship research.

Laguna College of Art and Design, Laguna Beach, California - To develop a series of Financial Aid 101 workshops to reach, counsel and educate students about locating and securing education financing and making smart decisions about educational loans, repayment and overall debt management.

Motorcycle Mechanics Institute, Phoenix, Arizona and Orlando, Florida - For a comprehensive student counseling program on budget management, building knowledge on small business management, preparing students with general life skills and enhancing exit counseling with materials targeted more toward MMI borrowers.

Mt. San Jacinto College, San Jacinto, California - To establish debt management and default prevention services, including a mentor program for early withdrawal students.

Pima Medical Institute, Tucson, Arizona - To develop a delinquent borrower intervention program with comprehensive skip-tracing capabilities to use at all eight campuses.

Platt College, San Diego, California - For a mentor program for borrowers with a high risk of default, including using senior citizen volunteer advisors for the highest risk group and a mandatory life skills course.

Point Loma Nazarene University, San Diego, California - To create a financial aid peer advisor program available at each residence hall.

Poway Academy of Hair Design, Poway, California - To develop a life skills counseling program and offer it to borrowers at its three campuses.

Rogue Community College, Grants Pass, Oregon - To implement a peer mentor counseling program and a delinquent borrower intervention program.

San Joaquin Delta College, Stockton, California - To create a comprehensive borrower awareness campaign, a borrower tracking system and install a loan "help desk."

San Jose State University, San Jose, California - To enhance existing debt management and default prevention efforts, including building more Web-based services for borrowers.

Silicon Valley College, San Jose, California - To encourage and expand the number of borrowers obtaining a GED certificate.

Thomas Jefferson School of Law, San Diego, California - To improve successful loan repayment by increasing the number trained for, knowledgeable about and employed in alternative dispute resolution. Part of the project will focus on expanding off-campus work-study opportunities within the alternative dispute resolution community and enhanced student budgeting and financial planning.

United Education Institute, Irvine, California - To develop a comprehensive program to contact and counsel students who are in the grace period and to enhance and increase the strategic intervention services for students who are delinquent on their loan payments.

University of Guam, Guam - To establish a debt management awareness program delivered in part through a new student-centered computer library.

Western Nevada Community College, Carson City, Nevada - To develop a comprehensive debt management, default prevention and financial aid educational outreach program.
