TRIO Outreach
As a TRIO Program counselor, you can help students put post-secondary education on their radar screen and identify ways to pay for it.
Preparing for a college education begins even before a student first sets foot in school, and it continues through middle school and high school. You need resources to help students get ready for college, plan for the future and make some very important decisions early.
- To browse our free outreach posters and videos, visit the publications section of our Web site and select “Early Outreach” from the "Browse by Subject" menu.
You can also help students prepare for college by exploring all their education and financing options. Applying for financial aid can seem daunting, but EdFund is here to help. Find the information, tips and links students need to make their education dreams a reality with EdFund’s award-winning Fund Your Future series. EdFund offers a national version and six state-specific versions of the Fund Your Future financial aid workbook. Each publication provides descriptions of the major types of federal aid—including grants, loans and work-study—while the state publications also include financial aid programs unique to each state. Both the California and national editions are produced in Spanish as well as English. All EdFund publications and resources are free.
