Mentor® Web sites

Mentor® Web sites are state-specific college and financial aid planning sites that will introduce you to the higher education opportunities within each state. The sites offer a one-on-one "mentoring" environment, complete with an overview of campus life, costs, admission and financial aid advice.

You'll find a friendly, interactive process that provides different levels of information, depending on your need. You can get a basic overview of colleges in your state or create personalized, secure portfolios to track your activities with various colleges. Mentor sites also feature virtual campus tours and specialized planning tools.

You'll find information and tools for:

  • Planning to meet admission requirements
  • Creating a secure, private, multi-use portfolio
  • Researching and selecting campuses that match your needs and interests
  • Managing your applications
  • Understanding federal and state financial aid opportunities
  • Choosing an educational program related to your career goals
  • Facilitating direct communications between students, campuses and financial aid sources
