Closed School Monthly Reports are the official lists that guaranty agencies may use to discharge loans for students who meet the eligibility requirements under 34 CFR Section 682.402(d) of the Federal Family Education Loan Program regulations.
The reports may contain two sections. Section I lists all the closed schools reported during the month. Section II lists the changes or updates to schools already in Postsecondary Education Participants System (PEPS) or to school closure data that was made in error. If Section II does not appear for a particular month, then there were no schools for which data was updated.
